Best Buy proposes stand-alone drive-thru restaurant at Coventry Rd store

Best Buy Canada is interested in applying for a Revision to Site Plan Control for their property located at 380 Coventry Road in order to propose the development of a stand-alone drive-thru restaurant along the Northern edge of the property, adjacent to Coventry Road.
Daniel Johnson Architect Inc. of Toronto, Ontario have been retained by Best Buy to prepare the Site Plan Application and are now sufficiently progressed in the preparation of the preliminary drawings in order to initiate the pre-application consultation. They have been in contact with both Councillor Jacques Legendre and the Overbrook Community Association to arrange this.
Daniel Johnson Architect Inc. was also involved with an application for a WAIVER TO THE CITY OF OTTAWA ENCROACHMENT BY-LAW 2003-446 FOR 1124 BANK STREET dated June 2006 to permit an outdoor patio at the Starbucks located there.
